Ingredients:

  • 600 g AAA flank steak
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • Piri-piri roasted spice mix
    • 1 tbsp = mild
    • 2 tbsp = spicy
    • 3 tbsp = hot

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, honey and spices.
  2. Coat meat and let rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat barbecue to 400 °F (205 °C). Oil the grill.
  4. Cook steaks about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or continue cooking to desired doneness. To ensure tenderness, steak must be served medium rare.
